Well, I’m excited! We’ve decided on our first book for our journey – I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti by Giulia Melucci. As a full blooded Italian myself, I love a good story about a Brooklyn girl…especially one who can cook. I went out and picked up the book today to get our journey started. In celebration of that, Madeline and I spent the time after her nap making some Rice Krispie Treats while we waited for our pizza to arrive. A nice mommy-daughter night, since Daddy came home and went right to bed after a 4am start today. I’m attempting to post pictures on here so hopefully it works. The extent of my “blogging” experience was a livejournal account somewhere around 2001-2003. LOL
We had tons of fun “cooking” tonight…although mommy must be a little tired from the week, cause I’m not sure what made me think using my Emeril stainless cookware to melt marshmallows was a good idea….
…and so it begins!

Fun Friday Night….

She’s so cute with her little apron.
you should have seen the fit when it was time to take it off to go to bed…because she insisted on eating dinner in it and wearing it until the absolute last second. quite adorable.
LOL so cute. Don’t you wish life for us was that simple? That wearing an apron to bed would be the happiest thing in our day?
