Like Brianne, I was sorta rushed and I had originally planned on making a pink tomato sauce for my gnocchi (like they serve at Paparazzi in Westbury), but just forgot about it. I'm glad I made the sauce I made, however, cuz it's now my favorite sauce recipe. Anyway in terms of being creative with the recipe, I know Jeanine probably will have to do the same since Shaun has a gluten allergy, so I'm looking forward to seeing her spin on it too... !!
